Had a fantastic stay for a business trip, would happily return. The location was stunning and wonderful, just next door to the beach, and including the very popular Barbar restaurants which are down a nearby side street. It also was right in the center on the trendy Hamra street.

Nice touches like a balcony 🌿, iron, and storage in the room, along with a cozy bed. The breakfast spread is top-notch, with everything from eggs to fresh juice - a tasty way to start the day!

We really had a bad experience at hotel. I was sick and laid down all day at hotel. When the house keeping came, I told them to come later. Nobody came after that. I asked to the receptionist for house keepers to take the garbage at least. She told me that they don't work after 6pm. I was about to put the tray in front of the door and a rat jump over me to the room. A really huge one. I looked at after it. It could not go under bed for a while. As that big. I screamed and did not think that I should keep the door close. I spoke to the receptionist, it wasn't a surprise for her btw. I found the owner, Chakib Abou Dargham, who is very rude and egoistic, told me that he could not find the rat and it might be my imagination. How rude it is. I cant beieve I paid a lot for this hotel. We were outside at night with my 9 months old baby without hotel reservation.

The hotel has very welcoming and polite employees, especially their manager. The location is marvellous and perfect for my trip, with a market and different stores within walking distance. They offer early check-in and late check-out options. Free parking and shuttle service to the airport are provided.

The bed was comfortable and the room was well presented. The location of the hotel was magnificent and absolutely perfect, right in the center of the shopping district. On top of that, it was conveniently situated next to the BUDA restaurant, a nightclub, as well as a variety of other amenities such as restaurants, shops.

The staff was extremely friendly. We had an early morning flight and had to leave the hotel prior to the time that breakfast was served so they prepared a "mini breakfast" for us of coffee, juice, croissants, etc. This hotel is rated a 4 Star and the week before we had stayed at another hotel rated as a 4 Star within a couple of city blocks of the Cavalier and felt that there was greater "value" at the Cavalier.
